US may start screening air passengers for Ebola

Looks like the US is considering screening passengers from Ebola hit countries before they enter the country. This is coming about a week after a Liberian man entered the country with Ebola. President Obama said yesterday that though the likelihood of an Ebola outbreak in the US is "extremely low' but they have to react.

"We're also going to be working on protocols to do additional passenger screening both at the source and here in the United States. Countries that think that they can sit on the sidelines and just let the United States do it, that will result in a less effective response, a less speedy response, and that means that people die."

Husband of Spanish Ebola Nurse threatens hell if pet dog is killed

The husband of  Spanish nurse who became the first outside of Africa to become infected with Ebola is fighting for his dog not to be killed after he and his wife have been quarantined  

Teresa Romero Ramos ,44 and Javier Limon Romero are being held in quarantine in separate rooms at the same hospital in the Spanish capital.

The nurse is one of the medical team that treated two repatriated Spanish priests who died from Ebola.The enraged husband sent out a facebook message to animal rights groups saying:

This is heartbreaking to see.Turkish families who have been trapped in Kobane,Syria ,are taking up arms to defend themselves ,as ISIS comes close to taking over their town.This came as US airstrikes failed to stop the islamists from advancing towards the city.

According to various newsites like CNN and BBC,Kurdish officials also warned thousands of  citizens to flee as they could no more protect them .The prime minister said the fall of the city is imminent as airstrikes can't stop the dreaded ISIS
